Stephen Cohle (aka Doc)

My name is Stephen Cohle (Doc). I am 55 years old, originally from Missouri. A hobby I enjoy besides Powerlifting is chess.

I compete in the 242 weight class. My best lifts are:

Squat: 450 lbs.
Bench Press: 358 lbs.
Deadlift: 555 lbs.

My proudest accomplishment in Powerlifting was in 2005 at the Michigan State Meet where my lifts were:

Squat: 425 lbs.
Bench Press: 350 lbs.
Deadlift: 540 lbs.

I got started in Powerlifting because I could not run anymore (knees), so I decided to train in order to do a 350 lbs. Bench Press.

I'd just like to add that Beckwith's has the greatest people!

Webmaster Note: Dr. Stephen D. Cohle is a forensic pathologist and Kent County's chief medical examiner. Cohle is a nationally recognized authority on sudden cardiac death. He has published dozens of professional and scholarly articles and appeared on crime-themed television programs such as Court TV's "Forensic Files."
